In 1915, nine very brave citizens stood up to fight residential segregation in Falls Church, Virginia. This fight led to the formation of the first rural branch of the N.A.A.C.P.
|
A monument to this struggle was built in 1999 and the struggles and joys of building the 15-foot tall granite arch was captured in this short documentary.
